About Us

Quanta Control

We build precision FPGA-based feedback control systems for optical quantum research — from Kerr-comb and EO-comb stabilization to cavity locking and quantum-limited measurement.

Our Mission

Optical frequency combs — whether driven by Kerr nonlinearity in microresonators or electro-optic modulation — require simultaneous closed-loop control of cavity length, pump power, and thermal drift, all within sub-microsecond latency budgets. Existing commercial solutions are either too slow, too opaque, or prohibitively expensive for research groups pushing the state of the art.

Quanta Control is built around a single conviction: open, FPGA-native feedback control should be the default for precision optical systems. We use commodity platforms like the Red Pitaya — running deterministic RTL at 125 MHz — so every signal path is transparent, every parameter is tunable, and the full design is auditable by the research team that depends on it.

The result is control infrastructure that matches the rigor of the physics: sub-microsecond loop latencies, quantum-limited noise floors where the hardware permits, and a web interface that lets you tune, monitor, and export data without leaving the browser. No proprietary software, no black boxes.

What We Do

FPGA Control Systems

Custom feedback controller design on Xilinx Zynq FPGAs. From lock-in amplification to multi-loop PID control, we implement the signal processing pipeline your application needs.

Web-Based Instrumentation

Real-time oscilloscope displays, parameter tuning interfaces, and stability analysis tools — all accessible from any device with a browser.

System Integration

End-to-end integration from FPGA bitstream to user interface. We handle the full stack: RTL design, embedded software, and web application development.
